The PE-1 is made from ductile iron which makes is exceptionally strong. It has a safe load of 6000 lbs. and a minimum breaking strength of 30,000 lbs. The large offset eye allows for easy hookup with a 3 ton hoist. This allows for the attachment of deadend guying devices such as the automatic, preformed and other similiar types. The grip can be adjusted to receive rod diameters ranging from 1/2" to 1" with the sliding wedge. If the wedge is removed it can receive a rod up to 1 1/4" in diameter. Weight 5 lbs.
